About us:
We are a Fae, Queer, Ace, Autistic, Plural system of five people — Ben, Dor, Sage, Silke, and Gwen — and call ourselves the SilkDragons. We're also Blind (partially sighted/legally blind due to albinism) and chronically ill. Collectively our pronouns are they/them but individually Ben's are "he/him", Silke's and Gwen's are "she/her", and Dor's and Sage's are "they/them/.../themself" (singular they).

We were born in the late 1960s, all of us are Zen Buddhists and members of the Blue Heron Zen Community in Seattle.

We are also white and we all work to examine our misconceptions and unconscious racism. This is a work in progress and we all know we will continue to make mistakes but hope to learn from these and make fewer over time. All of us are open to criticism about this.

Plurality:
In mid-April of 2017, after three decades of believing zemself to be a singlet, Sage reawakened to the fact that ze is not alone in this body, and is thus a member of a plural system. Ben, Dor, Sage, Silke, and Gwen are bodymates and there may be more we don't know about yet. We do not have dissociative identity disorder. Though we each had a traumatic childhood, our plurality seems — like that of many other friends who are members of plural systems — to be a naturally occurring manifestation of our neurodivergence and is thus not a pathology nor a source of distress for any of us.

Fae
In August 2023 our superpower/psi reawakened. We're still trying to sort out what it all means, but the result is that we've discovered reality is quite different from what we were raised to believe. Apparently psychic abilities exist among people in varying degrees and forms and seems to be quite common among neurodivergent people.
